Addie L. (Horne) Evans

Mrs. A.L. Evans was born April 27, 1916 in Marianne, Fl to the late Mr. and Mrs. William Horne. She met and married Mr. Frank Evans and moved to Pensacola, FL. She was an active member of the Greater Union Baptist Church.
Cherishing her memories are: daughter, Mrs. Luverne (John) Edwards, grandsons: Mr. VonChea (Tammie) Edwards, and Mr. deCress (Gina) Edwards; seven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Viewing will be held at Joe Morris on Friday, May 11 from 12-4 pm. The funeral will be held at Greater Union Baptist Church, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 12 noon. The body will be placed in the church at 11 am Saturday.

Ms. Addie and my grandmother, who lived on 14th and Leonard, were very good friends. I remember her kindness when I was growing up. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
