Jerold "Jerry" Wayne Fulton, 72, of Pensacola, FL went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 4:03 p.m. He passed away at home surrounded by his family after a brief fight with pancreatic cancer.
He was born in Parsons, KS to Mary Ione and G. E. Fulton.
A Vietnam veteran, he retired from the U. S. Navy after 20 years service as an electrician. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club, Amvets and VFW.
He was the backbone of his family and his wife was his heart. He was honorable, giving, forgiving and a soft place to land for all he loved. He traveled many roads in his life and once more he is "On the Road Again".
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Kelly Fulton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Fulton; his children, Weldon (Traci) Fulton, Gary (Retta) Fulton, Angela (Rob) Nicholson, Donna (Tim) Rutherford, Diane (Dallas) Patterson; two sisters, Phyllis (Bill) Pyles and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held graveside at NAS Barrancas National Cemetery, Monday, September 10th at 11:45 a.m.
Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners.
