Francis Joseph Carini

1930-2012

Francis Joseph Carini USAF (Ret.) SMG, born September 27, 1930 to Joseph F. Carini and Josephine Battaglia Carini in Buffalo, New York departed this life on October 28, 2012 from his home in Milton, FL.

Frank was awarded a Bronze Star for meritorious service in the Korean War. His military career of 38 years was a combination of active and reserve duty and civil service under contract with the USAF. In retirement, He volunteered over 12 years serving tirelessly in the Santa Rosa County Office of the Dept. of Juvenile Justice, often recognized for his dedication. He spoke individually to youth and adults about the need to stop smoking and the method that worked for him. Humble and sincere, a man of character, a faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church, he leaves behind many to celebrate his expressions of love for God through service to others. One of his greatest joys was to help us all laugh. Thank you, Frank!
