1954-2012
Lisa Ramona Giardina Nance was born December 5, 1954 in Leland, MS. Her physical body gave out on her December 19, 2012. She was 58 years old.
Lisa was preceded in death by her brother Frankie Giardina and her parents Frank and Evelyn Giardina.
She is survived by her son James Franklin "Frankie" Nance and his wife Shauna, her granddaughters Alexis Evans, Taylor Yoder and Lilliana Nance and by her brother Vince Giardina. Her next grandchild, due in July, will be watched over by Meme from heaven. She also leaves behind her partner Laura Saddy and "Buddy".
Lisa surrounded herself with those she loved, the Ya Ya Sisterhood of the Saints and her family. She gathered people together and created everlasting memories. She loved the outdoors, sitting by the bonfire, camping, traveling, dancing and especially fishing. Pulling in blue gill with Snapper and her grandkids was a tremendous thrill for her. We will miss her saying, "Love ya, mean it."
Lisa's heart family, the Ya Ya Sisterhood of the Saints, pledge the following in her memory: Life is short, live it. A true friend is also a sister. Memories are forever, cherish them. Holding anger is bad; let it go. Be a giver and not a taker. Party like there's no tomorrow. Dance with a sister. Pay it forward. Believe and keep God in your heart. Love the Saints! Ya Ya!

Memorial service will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church at 9945 Hillview Drive, Pensacola, FL on Saturday, January 5, 2012. Originally scheduled for 9 a.m., be there at 11 a.m. because she won't be there until then. A second memorial will be the next day, January 6th, at the Moose Lodge at 8851 Lewis St., Pensacola, FL at 2:00 p.m. or so.
Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lisa said, "You have to get there when the sahns on..." and so I asked, "Oh, when the sun is up?"
She was introducing a group of us northerners to Krispy Kreme. We did tour the Krispy Kreme thanks to her influence there. She was helpful to the carless.
