Robert Elliot Miller, Jr. passed away on May 29, 2013.

He was born on November 5, 1926 in Portland, ME to Robert Elliot Miller and Mabelle Borden Miller, and grew up in Westborough, MA.

He served in the Army Air Corps, after which he attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He graduated in 1949 with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. His professional career, which began at CT Light and Power, moved on to other companies through which he worked in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and later North Carolina. He was a 32nd degree Freemason who received his Fifty Year Recognition in 2000 from the Grand Lodge of CT. He was Also a long time Elks member, transferring from CT to Pensacola Beach.

He was a cheerful and well-loved honey-do for several local widows, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

He leaves a son, Mark E. Miller (Susan), daughters Faith Miller Morana (John) and Margaret Miller Stevens (Tim), stepsons John and George Malosky, and grandchildren David Miller (Sean), Cindy Miller Davy (Bob) and Linda Miller Fafard (Tilden), as well as great grandchildren.

His wife, Pat Malosky Miller, preceded him in death, and he leaves his significant other Marcia Moritz.

Memorial services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Gulf Breeze on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations to Covenant Hospice or Animal Rescue League may be made.
