Lester Miller Mooneyham

1927-2013

Lester Miller Mooneyham, age 86 of Milton, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

He was a native of Dellwood, Florida and has been a resident of N.W. Florida all his life.

He was a 1944 graduate of Greenwood High School of Greenwood, FL.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.

Mr. Mooneyham was the founder of Mooneyham Heating and Air Conditioning of Milton, FL.

He was a faithful member of Bagdad First Assembly of God, where he was active in men's ministries.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Lillian Harrison Mooneyham.

Mr. Mooneyham is survived by his son, Gary (Ellen) Mooneyham of Milton; daughter, Joan (Don) Miller of Marianna, FL; four granddaughters, Kacy Mooneyham, Susan (Hardy) Smith, Donna (Jerry) Cordle, and Marcia Corbett; and five great-grandchildren, Sarah and Emily Smith, Jacob and Lauren Cordle, and Lance Corbett.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Bagdad First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ricky Tedder, officiating. Burial will follow in Serenity Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. prior to services.

Active pallbearers will be David Beach, Danny Glass, Danny Bateman, Victor Willis, Ken Courington, and Jerry Womack.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lloyd Fowler, Steve Gill, Clint Anderson, John Teusink, Jim Williamson, and the men of Bagdad First Assembly of God Church.

Lewis Funeral Home in Milton entrusted with arrangements.

The family would like to send their sincere thanks to the staff of Unihealth Post Acute Care and Covenant Hospice of Milton, FL for their compassionate care at this most difficult time.
