Edgar W. Head
1932-2013
Edgar W. Head, 81, of Pensacola passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
Mr. Head was born in Veto, AL on February 9, 1932 to Maggie Lou (Lively) and Howard W. Head. He graduated from Tulane University and served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Head retired from AT& T after many years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Courtenay Head; son, Courtenay H. Head; daughter, Leah L. Head; daughter-in-law, Amy Fairweather Head; grandchildren, Colton, McKenna and Peyton Head.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am Saturday, October 26, 2013 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
