Margaret S. Garrett, 83, of Winchester, formerly of Jordan, Ind., died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at her son's residence Visitation and funeral services were held Thursday, April 9, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory , Washington Street Chapel, in Indiana. Pastor Larry Latham officiated. Burial was in Tomlinson Cemetery.

HOLBROOK, ZONNIE - West Union  
Zonnie Holbrook, Sr., 74, of West Union, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born in Pikeville, Ky. on March 21, 1941 the son of the late Lacy and Lilly (Roberts) Holbrook. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife whom he married on July 6, 1960, Rosemarie (Nehus) Holbrook of West Union; four sons, Roger and Michele Holbrook of West Union, Zonnie and Lisa Holbrook, Jr. of West Union, Johnny and Michelle Robinson of Alabama, and Zonnie Wayne of Blanchester; six daughters, Lexie and Charles McCann of Seaman, Roxanna and Danny Simpson of Seaman, Christine and Tony Carter of Peebles, Tammy and Rick Shifflett of West Virginia, Elizabeth and Joshua Gordon of Tennessee, and Amber and Tom Burks of Tennessee; one brother, Danny Eugene Holbrook of Seaman; four sisters, Bonnie Sue Thomas of Peebles, Ina Cluxton of Cherry Fork, Wilma Dotson of Seaman, and Linda Ward of Peebles; 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Visitation has been scheduled for 5 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Wallace-Thomson Funeral Home in Peebles, with Dennis Ward officiating. Funeral services are scheduled for the following day at 1 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. MCCLURE, ROGER - West Union  
Roger L. McClure, 80, of West Union, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center. Mr. McClure was born April 24, 1934 the son of the late Floyd and Delpha (Murphy) McClure in Adams County. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Mary E. McClure, son Roger T. McClure, brother Rolland McClure, and grandson Zachary Shirey. Mr. McClure attended the Corner Stone Church in West Union, he was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, USS Des Moines Association, Cruiser Sailors Association, 70th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War. Survivors include his wife Connie McClure of West Union; four daughters Constance Sexton and husband Randy Ferguson of Hillsboro, Donna Elicker and husband Roy, of Xenia, Kathleen McClure of West Union, Mary K. Shirey and husband Edgar of Otway, Ohio; son James McClure of West Union; 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Tom Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery, with military graveside services by the Adams County Honor Guard. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Corner Stone Church, West Union, Ohio. TOLLER, BERLIN - Peebles  
Berlin Toller, 82, of Peebles, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Heartland of Chillicothe. He was born in Peebles on March 8, 1933 the son of the late Ollie and Anna (King) Toller. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Pearl Piatt. Berlin attended Bailey Chapel and Peebles Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the Operators Engineer Union. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Stephens) Toller of Peebles; one son, Mike and Tonya Toller of Wilmington; two daughters, Cindy and Jim Humphrey of Peebles and Debbie and Ferm Beavers of Piketon; one brother, Tom Toller of Peebles; 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Richard Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. VANCE, WILMA - Hillsboro  
Wilma F. Vance, 85, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Miami Valley Hospital. She was born June 14, 1929, in Winchester, the daughter of the late Grover and Faye (Ayres) Pence. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coburn "Coby" Vance, in 1985; a great grandson, Tyler Michael; and two sisters, Alice Craig and Jean Thompson. Mrs. Vance was a member of the Auburn United Methodist Church, and had retired as a bus driver for the Hillsboro City Schools in 2004 after 32 years of service. She is survived by five children, Ginger (Steve) Cox, Julie Toler, Faye (Mike) Fawley, Clay C. Vance and Scot G. Vance, all of Hillsboro; fourteen grandchildren, Chris (Mandy) Cox, Emily (Stephen) Daggett, Rebecca Griffin, Philip Cox, Adam (Tiffiney) Michael, Sarah (Chris) Riley, Clinton Fawley, Sabrina Fawley, Andy (Miranda) Vance, Coby (Jennifer) Vance, Dustin (Tabitha) Vance, Raejean Vance, Sadie Vance and Jireh Vance; sixteen great grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Reeves of Beavercreek; a brother, Allen Pence of Winchester; a sister-in-law, Ruth Fields of Orient; a brother-in-law, Joe Vance of Mount Sterling, as well as several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Turner and Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Auburn Cemetery.
