MONTOGMERY - Lee Kavanaugh, 74, of Montgomery died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington.
He was born Sept. 11, 1938, in Lawrenceville, Ill., to Louis Sr. and Catherine McCauley Kavanaugh.
Lee is survived by his wife, Irma (Early) Kavanaugh; three sons, Jeff Kavanaugh of Colleyville, Texas, Steve Kavanaugh of Evansville and Jason Kavanaugh of Frisco, Texas; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Kay Andres of Indianapolis and Charlotte Ann Lewinski of Manchester, Mo., and six brothers, John Kavanaugh of Lee's Summit, Mo., Albert Kavanaugh, Louis Kavanaugh Jr., and David Kavanaugh, both of Montgomery, Steve Kavanaugh of Indianapolis and Mark Kavanaugh of Greenwood.
A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted Saturday, June 22, at St. Peter Catholic Church. The Revs. James Koressel, Kenneth Walker and Joseph Erbacher officiated. Burial was in St. Peter Cemetery.
