Lange, Norman - Ferdinand  
FERDINAND – Norman V. Lange, 79, of Ferdinand, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born April 13, 1935, in Ferdinand, to Herman and Ida (Begle) Lange. He married Sharon M. Rogier Aug. 22, 1987, at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Bristow. Norman retired from Styline Furniture in the manufacturing division after 46 years. He was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church parish. He enjoyed watching game shows and attending car shows and especially loved Corvettes. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. Surviving are his wife, Sharon M. Lange and a daughter, Holly Lange, of Ferdinand; two sisters, Bernita (Linus) Metz of St. Anthony and Lastie Carl of New Albany; a brother, Donald (Ann) Hoppenjans of Ferdinand; and sisters-in-law Aleene Lange and Anna Lange, both of Ferdinand. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard, Alfred "Shorty," John and Ernest Lange and a sister, Hermina "Minnie" Hoppenjans. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Lehmkuhler Carpenter, Anna Lee - Cannelton  
CANNELTON – Anna Lee Lehmkuhler Carpenter, 94, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bristow July 5, 1920, to the late Frosta (Ostheimer) and William Lehmkuhler. Anna Lee was married to Harry Carpenter, who precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death were a brother, Robert Lehmkuhler; a sister, Joyce Ubelhor; and a nephew, Clint Ubelhor. Anna Lee was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella Nativity Circle 710 and the OAKS. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards and bingo and the St. Louis Cardinals. Surviving are brother-in-law Roman Ubelhor; nieces and nephews Bill Lehmkuhler, Ruth Hoch, Dorothy Blinzinger, Linda Seiss, Karen Ubelhor, Doris Cox; Roch, Zach, Doug, Matt and Luke Ubelhor; Clair Wendel, Sara Harpenau and Laura Mossberger; and her constant sidekick, Martha Lehmkuhler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. There will be no visitation prior. Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Perry County or The OAKS of Cannelton.
