Infant Chet Andrew Strange

EVANSTON - Chet Andrew Strange gained his angel wings Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
He brought much joy and hope to his parents' lives for 20 weeks as they anticipated the birth of their first child.
Surviving are Chet's parents, Adam and Katie Strange of Seymour; his grandparents, Bob and Karen Mosby of Evanston, Kathy Hawk of Seymour and Timothy Strange of Paoli; his great-grandmother, Cecil Pekinpaugh of Tell City; his aunts and uncles, Kristin and Dan Johnson of Evansville, Cassie and Adam Heeke of Evanston, Logan Mosby of Evanston and Cheyenne and Matt Tedrow of Seymour and his loving big cousins, Aidan, Sophia, Becca, Owen, Landon and Cohen. Also surviving are many more family members and friends who loved Chet from the moment they heard his parents were expecting.
Joining him in death are his great-grandparents, Chester and Mary Helen Mosby, John A. Pekinpaugh, Charlotte Hawk and Jarvis and Dorothy Strange and his big cousin Weston Tedrow.
"We find comfort in knowing that he is in good company in Heaven, until we meet again."
A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted Thursday, Sept. 26, at St. Pius Catholic Church, followed by his burial in Calvary Cemetery in Troy next to his great-grandfather, who was so excited to hear the news that Katie was pregnant in June.
"Though it did not end as we had hoped, you, Chet Andrew, are a dream come true. Fly high, baby boy."
