Clara Mae Hall

Clara Mae Hall, 86, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.
She was born in Empire, Ohio, Sept. 8, 1926. Her parents were the late Clarence and Ona (Barker) King.  Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Evelyn Sodrel and Betty Davis; brothers Clarence "Bud" King and Don King and three brothers and sisters in infancy.
Clara Mae married William "Bill" Hall, Sr., July 13, 1946, in Owensboro, Ky. He preceded her in death.
She retired from the U.S. Forestry Service, where she worked in maintenance, and she sold Avon for more than 35 years. She attended Bethel Christian Church in Doolittle Mills and enjoyed flower gardening, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Vicki Hall of Paoli; her sons, William A. "Bill" Hall, Jr. (Susan) of Newburgh and Denny Hall Sr. (Kimberly) of Tell City; grandchildren Christopher William Hall, Jamie Hall, Dennis Hall Jr., Derek Hall and Lacey Kilbarger; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Mae Hall, Reese William Hall, Olivia Hall, Blake Hall, Annabelle Kilbarger and Dylan Hall and a brother, Andy King of Tell City.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Old Chapel Cemetery near Mount Pleasant.
