Randolph Truempy

ETOWAH, N.C. â€" Randolph "Randy" Harry Tru-empy, born Jan. 28, 1952, in Pekin, Ill., died suddenly Thursday, May 16, 2013, at his home in Etowah.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 13 years, Karen, and three sons, Randy, Martin and Harold.
Randolph was preceded in death by his parents, Jacqueline (Minto) Iversen and Harold Truempy, formerly of Cannelton; his stepfather, Martin Iversen and a sister, Deborah Dalton.
He is also survived by his brothers, Eric Truempy and Greg Truempy; a stepbrother, Paul Iversen; his stepsister, Lisa Iversen; his aunts, Mary Nell (Minto) Plane, Margaret (Truempy) Ahlf and Beverly Minto; an uncle, John Minto and 11 nieces and nephews.
Randy enjoyed music, playing the guitar, bowling, ice skating with his family and Scouting activities with his son, Harold.
Randy was proud to serve in the United States Navy as a yeoman 1st class for 20 years.
A Celebration of Life service will be held June 11, at Camp Stephens in Arden, N.C. Burial and services will be at Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton at a later date.
