Shellayne Cronin(1961 - 2014)

TELL CITY – Shellayne Cronin, 52, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014, from injuries sustained in a car accident.
She was born Nov. 23, 1961, to the late James "Bud" and Betty (Davis) Knable. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, John and Larry Knable.
She was married Oct. 23, 1979, to Mark Cronin.
Shellayne had worked as a nurse at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Dukes Cumberland Presbyterian Church and she enjoyed collecting jewelry and antiques.
Surviving is her husband, Mark Cronin of Cloverport; a daughter Brandi Cronin of Cloverport; a grandson, Brandon Wirthwein; sisters, Jamie Gross of Evansville, Holly Basham of Lewisport and Patty Morgan of Troy and brothers, Rick Knable of Evanston and Danny Knable of Tell City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. The Rev. Kim Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow in Troy Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
