TELL CITY - Charles Huff, 63, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Tell City Aug. 20, 1949. His parents were the late George and Nelie (Burden) Huff. Also preceding him in death were a sister, Patricia Brown and a brother, Robert Huff.
A 1968 graduate of Tell City High School, Charles served his country from 1969 to 1973 in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in the Philippines.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2939 and Evangelical United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his children, Becky Sue Young (Jeff Maysey) of Owensboro, Ky., and Jeffery A. Huff (Amanda) of Tell City; the mother of his children, Darlene Hinton of Cannelton; his sisters, Beverly Hosler (Darrel), Cathy McCallister (John) and Angie Harding (Michael), all of Tell City; two brothers, George Alvin Huff (Carolyn) of Evansville and Bill Huff (Nadean) of Tell City and his grandchildren, Madison, Jonothan, Emma and Jeniffer Huff and Deveron, Daelyn and Donavon Mason.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, where military graveside rites were conducted. Pastors J.T. Willis and Jethere Fuqua officiated.
