Claude W. 'Bill' Bolin, 88, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Golden Living Center-Lincoln Hills in Tell City.

He was born in Perry County Jan. 2, 1924, son of the late Hubert and Laura (Shephard) Bolin. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Forrest and Hubert Bolin Jr.
A U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II, Bill worked at Youngstown Cabinet Co. for many years.
He is survived by a brother, Eugene Hicks (Linda), a niece, Vicky Spear (Scott) and a great-nephew, Evan Spear, all of Tell City.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Troy City Cemetery. Pastor Ben Rake will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, (today) and from 9 until 11 a.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Widow's Barrel Food Pantry, in care of the Community Christian Church.
