Dorothy 'Dottie' Faulkner, 86, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.

She was born June 17, 1926, in Evansville, daughter of the late William and Emma (Schlegel) Weil. Also preceding her in death were a son, Vince Faulkner; a daughter, Laurie Faulkner; her brothers, William and Lawrence Weil; a twin brother, Bobby Weil; her sisters, Mary McIntosh, Margaret Miller, Rosemary Greenfield and Betty Weil and a son-in-law, Tony Hahus.
Dottie was united in marriage to Albert L. Faulkner Sept. 6, 1952, in Evansville. A homemaker, she was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Albert Faulkner of Tell City; her daughters, Susan Doyle (Dave) of Fresno, Calif., Sharon Baer (Jeff) of Plainfield, Theresa Button (Bobby) of Covington, Ga., and Patty Hahus of Alton; her sons, Albert 'Larry' Faulkner, Jr. (Anna) of Evansville and Andrew Faulkner (Sue) of Fredericksburg, Va.; 10 grandchildren, Brandy Sitzman, Brian Faulkner, Brad Faulkner, Leonard Hahus, Melissa Hahus, Carri Button, Candi Button, Sammy Button, Tamra Clemens and Amanda Dial and nine great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, Nov. 24, at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis Duvelius officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
