Dunward A. Howe, 70, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro, Ky.

He was born in Troy July 8, 1942, to the late Dunward R. and Hazel (VanHoosier) Howe.Â An army veteran, Dunward had worked for Maxon Marine and retired from Styline Furniture.
He was married to Peggy Masterson Nov. 28, 1964. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, working in his workshop, fishing and hunting, watching football and Indiana University basketball.
Surviving is his wife, Peggy Howe of Tell City; his children, Tim Howe and wife, Lynn and Jill Little and husband, Jeremy, all of Tell City; his brothers, Wayne Howe of Tell City and Billy Howe of Owensboro; sisters Mary Kellems of Troy, Donna Gogel of St. Meinrad, Georgia Smith of Chrisney and Brenda Jacob of Tell City and three grandchildren, Ashley Howe, Bailey and Zack Little.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 8, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.Â Pastor Andy Payton officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Troy.
