CANNELTON - Ella Tindle, 90, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born March 26, 1923, in Perry County, the daughter of the late Jeff and Florence (Stevens) Wilgus. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Forrest Tindle; her brothers, Walter, William and George Wilgus and two grandsons, Ronnie and Lonnie Alvey.
She enjoyed tulips and hummingbirds.
Ella is survived by a daughter, Alice Faye Alvey of Tell City; a son, Donnie Tindle (Willie) of Cannelton; eight grandchildren, Kenny, Kevin and Kimberly Tindle, Donnie Alvey, Sandy Bryant, Mary Kay Alvey, Ron Little and Charlie Little Jr., and several great- and great-great-grand-children.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, (today) at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Brother Roger Jarboe will officiate.
Visitation will be from 9 until 11 a.m. today.
