Elsie M. Ash, 93, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at her daughter's home near Chrisney.

She was born Nov. 22, 1919, to George and Anna Mae Krutz of Derby. She attended school in Magnet. She had one brother, John William Krutz, who preceded her in death.
Elsie married Otto S. Ash March 26, 1939, and bore twins Mary Sue and Jacob Louis 10 years later.
She lived in Spencer County for more than 70 years. In 2006, she temporarily moved to Henderson, Nev., to be with her daughter. She enjoyed going to daycare and dining out. She enjoyed any adventure, including riding in a motorcycle sidecar.
After the death of Otto in 1989, Elsie married Forest Tucker of Missouri Nov. 4, 1996. They enjoyed four years together before Forest passed.
Elsie is survived by her two children, Mary Sue Aldridge of Chrisney and Jacob Louis Ash of Boonville; her grandchildren, Timothy John (Carrie) Ash of Dublin, Ohio, Sarah Lynn Ash of Richland City and Jason Keith (Jill) Ludwig of Rockport; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Keith and Averi Laynes Ludwig; a niece, Julie Wilke of Evansville; a nephew, James (Bonnie) Ash of Chrisney and many cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 13, at Youngblood Funeral Home in Chrisney. The Rev. Drex Stuart officiated. Burial was in Midway Cemetery.
