TELL CITY - Evelyn Crossley, 84, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.Â She was born in Troy June 15, 1929, to the late Albert and Isabella (Gramelspacher) Ernst.

She was retired from Swiss Plywood and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Evelyn enjoyed bingo, reading and crafts.
She was married March 1, 1949, to George Crossley, who preceded her in death in 1981.Â Also preceding her in death were her children, Brian and Phyllis Crossley; twin sisters Martina and Marcella Ernst and a brother, Marvin Ernst.
Surviving are her children, Rose Andrada of Riv-erside, Calif., Russell (Lisa) Crossley of Springfield, Ore., David (Sharlene) Crossley of Cannelton, Ron (Cathy) Crossley of Tell City Â and Lynn (Bud) Cart of Ferdinand; her sisters, Frieda James and Rovilla Lyons, both of Charlestown; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 18, (today) at St. Paul Church. The Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. today at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City.
