CANNELTON - June F. Benjamin, 67, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, Ky.

She was born May 1, 1946, in Rossville, Ill.Â Her parents were Barbara (Brown) Hardwick and the late Sterling Hardwick. Also preceding her in death were a son, Jason Benjamin and a grandson, Nathanial Benjamin.
A homemaker, she had worked at General Electric, formerly in Danville and Teepak also located in Danville, Ill.Â June enjoyed painting and drawing, art and going to flea markets.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mich-eal Benjamin of Cannelton; a daughter, Rosie Benjamin of Portland, Ore.; her sons, Samson Benjamin of Cannelton and Joseph Benjamin (Joann) of Tell City; a stepson, Shawn Benjamin (Marcella) of Phoenix, Ariz.; her mother, Barbara Hardwick of Rossville, Ill.; her brother, Kenneth Hardwick of Potomac, Ill., and her grandchildren, Austin and Â Noah Benjamin and Ashton and Aiden Benjamin.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, at Pape Mortuary in Danville, Ill., with burial in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Danville.
There will be visitation from 9 until 11 a.m. Friday at Pape Mortuary in Danville.
