TELL CITY – Lillian Margaret (Hoffman) Vincent Blunk, 93, formerly of Tell City, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at her home with her family by her side.

A native of Dubois County, she was born in Huntingburg, Nov. 25, 1920, daughter of the late Basil Hoffman, Sr. and Mary Ellen (Kellams) Hoffman. Also preceding her in death was her first husband, Bennie Ransom Vincent in 1944; their son, Robert Lee Vincent in 1949; her second husband, Walter Edward Blunk, in 1988; granddaughter April Renee Cornelius in 1998; four sisters, Anna Belle Wright, Alice Wright, Ruth Madden and Delores Cooper and three brothers, George "Butch" Hoffman, Basil "Junior" Hoffman and Gary Hoffman.
In 1954, Lillian dedicated her life as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, staying faithful until her death. She lived in Louisville the last six years and dearly loved her new home. She was entertained by a family of squirrels and a large variety of wild birds that came to feed at her front door.
Lillian is survived by three children; Joyce Blunk Lich (Wayne) of Ketchikan, Alaska; Judy Blunk Cornelius Shaw (Roger) of Louisville, Ky., and Bruce Blunk (Janie) of Newburgh; three grandchildren, Jonathan Cornelius, Richard Wutzke and J. Blunk; three stepgrandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nine stepgreat grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces.
Her door was always open to congregations of friends whom she loved like family.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Birdseye Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Huffman will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until service time Friday.
