Ma Amparo Foertsch, passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
She was born July 3, 1965, to Humberto Gonzalez and Carmen Pulgarin in Allende, Coahuila Mexico.
Amparo worked for Hancock County School System teaching English as a second language. She enjoyed watching movies and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Foertsch; her children, Perla Sauceda of Saltillo, Mexico, Ryan Foertsch (Natashia) of Tell City, and Dusty Hayden (Patrick) of Owensboro, Ky.; her brothers, Jose Humberto Gonzalez Pulgarin of San Fernando Valley, California, Victor Alonso Gonzalez Pulgarin of Saltillo, Coahuila, Marco Antonio Gonzalez Pulgarin of Katy, Texas; a sister, Ana Maria Gonzalez Pulgarin of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, and six grandchildren, Clara, Sawyer, Alex, Ruby, Connor, and Julia.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Humberto and Carmen; sister Luz del Carmen Gonzalez Pulgarin.
Funeral Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to service time.
