JASPER - Oledia M. Kieffner, 96, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born Dec. 26, 1916, in Shoals to G. Fred and Margaret (Neukam) Wolf.
She married Jacob J. Kieffner April 25, 1939, in Emmanuel Hill Lutheran Church in Dubois. He preceded her in death June 24, 1999.
Oledia and her late husband were farmers in the Jasper community for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Women's Evangelical Lutheran Church Association of St. Paul's.
She is survived by one son, Harold W. Kieffner and his wife, Mary Ann E., of Boone Township; five daughters, Lou Ella Mann and her husband, Luther of Boone Township, Joann M. Schnarr and her husband Michael D. of Boone Township, L. Marie Neukam and her husband, Glenn of Haysville, Darlene Ziegler of Jasper and Norma Jean Held and her husband, Norman of Tell City; a son-in-law, Donald Eck of Boone Township; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband were one daughter, Margaret Eck; a sister, Irene Bauer and two brothers, Elmer Wolf and William Wolf.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.Â The Rev. Charla Grieves will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services Saturday at church.
A Women's Evangelical Lutheran Church Association of St. Paul's memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Haysville, American Diabetes Association or the ALS for Lou-Gehrig's.
