TELL CITY - Robert E. "Bob" Seibert, 77, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at his home in Bloomington.

He was born in Toledo, Ohio, March 25, 1936, son of the late Arthur and Ruby Pauline (Harper) Seibert. Also preceding him in death were his brother, Edward Seibert and a grandson, Brandon Seibert.
He was a 1954 graduate of Tell City High School and 1962 graduate of Evansville College. Bob was united in marriage to Betty Sue Kuster Aug. 31, 1957, at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Tell City.
Bob was a United States Army veteran. In 1996, he retired from the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane after 36 years of service as a mechanical engineer. Bob was a proficient mechanic, talented woodworker and enjoyed refinishing antiques.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 18, both located in Bloomington.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Sue Seibert of Bloomington; a son, John RobertÂ Seibert (Kelly) of Bloomington; a daughter, Karen Williams (David) of Minneapolis, Minn.; his brothers, Arthur Carl Seibert of Kansas City, Mo., and Dale Seibert of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and grandchildren Mikaela and Christian Hunley, Darian and Kya Seibert.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Huber Funeral Home in Tell City. Burial will be in Log Church Cemetery near Cannelton.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, and from 9 until 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Lee Shepherd will officiate.
