Robert K. Worsley, 81, passed away Nov. 8, 2017, at his residence in Tell City.
He was born Feb. 20, 1936, to Richard and Eva (Keene) Worsley in Triumph, Ill. He was united in marriage to Beatrice (Crenshaw) Worsley on Sept. 6, 1958.
Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired sergeant from the Branchville Correctional Center. He enjoyed spending time with both his family and church family.
Robert is survived by his children, Kelli Hardesty (Jim) of Hemet, Calif, Debra Goffinet (Mark) of Tell City, Rebecca Ernst (Joe) of Tell City, Stephanie Armanetti of Grays Lake, Ill., and Sara Davis (David) of Tell City; grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholas Hardesty, Matthew Rideout, Michelle Rideout-Hayes, Alyssa Fulkerson, Kyle Goffinet, Michael and Isaiah Ernst, Olivia and Sophia Armanetti, Gabrielle and Julia Joines, and Emily Davis; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, and two grandchildren, Adam Hardesty and Andrew Hardesty.
Funeral Services will be at 1 pm Saturday, Nov. 11, at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Sam Padgett officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday, November 10 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
