TELL CITY – Floyd Mulzer, 81, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 2, 1933, to the late Raymond and Nelda (Fischer) Mulzer. Also preceding him in death were his wife, Joyce A. Mulzer and brothers Hilbert and Hugo Mulzer.
Floyd was a Korean War Army veteran. He was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and American Legion Post 213. He enjoyed farming and gardening, fishing, hunting and hunting turtles.
Surviving are his children, Carol (Jerry Meunier) Mulzer of Evanston, Lea Ann (Duane) Gehlhausen of Bristow and Gary (Debbie) Mulzer of Tell City; companion Betty Vaughn of Tell City; brothers Omer Mulzer of Evansville and Terry Mulzer of Elkhart: a sister, Verlee Weiss of Tell City; grandchildren Tara Michelle, Jared, Kristy, Eric, Kari and Sara and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 28, at Evangelical United Church of Christ. The Rev. J.T. Hills will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, with military rites.
