Barbara Rose Duthie, 64, formerly from Tell City, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Aiken Regional Medical Center in Aiken, S. C.

She was born March 7, 1948 in Tell City, daughter of the late Alvin Ransom and Mae B. (Guillaume) Ransom Peter.
She was a quality control inspector and owner of Home Cleaning Service. Barbara was a member of Houndslake Country Club and enjoyed shopping and working in her garden.
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband, David Alan Duthie; two daughters, Gretchen Donnelly Sheridan of Longview, Texas, and Jackie Donnelly Spoon of Aiken; her stepdaughters, Heather (John) Maher of Wharton, Texas, and Jennifer (Jimmy) Goodman of Houston, Texas; a stepson, Shawn Duthie of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Ula Winter of Tell City; five brothers, Gary Peter of Indianapolis, Bill Peter and Ronnie Peter both of Branch-ville, Glenn Peter of Leo-pold and Dwight Peter of Tell City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, (today) at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate.
Visitation will be from 8 until 9:15 a.m. today at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
