TELL CITY - Ruth M. Brothers, 103, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born Dec. 25, 1909, in Meade County, Ky., daughter of the late David and Martha (Cash) Yoho. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Charles Brothers in 1970; an infant son, Jimmy; a daughter, Carol Jensen; a granddaughter, Christa Jensen and a sister, Blanche Eads.

A homemaker, Ruth was a charter member of Tell City Seventh Day Adventist Church since 1928 and former member of Perry County Extension Homemaker's Club, and Lincoln Trail Organ and Music Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Brown of Georgetown, Tenn.; a son, David Brothers (Carol) of Peru; her sisters, Helen Yoho of Tell City and Nettie Hall of Dale; a brother, Roy Yoho (Elsie) of Woodbridge, Va.; a son-in-law, Fred Jensen of Moriarty, N.M.; eight grandchildren, Mark Brown, Iris Pyke, Gregory Brothers, Lynn Mull, Chad Brothers, Karl Jensen, Eric Jensen and Indra Feick and several great- and great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.Â Graveside services were held Saturday, June 8, at Lilly Dale Cemetery.
