TELL CITY - Lena Sue Boone, 53, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Golden Living Center-Lincoln Hills in Tell City.

Born in Hancock County, Ky., Nov. 30, 1959, she had worked as a cashier for Marvin's Market.Â Sue was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.Â She enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her children, Jenny Hamill and her husband, James of Compton, Ill., and Thomas Lynn Boone II of Tell City; her companion, Michael Fuchs of Evanston; her sisters, Polina Campbell, Faye Dawson and Mary Lee Rice; her brothers, Earl, David, Larry, Terry and Harrison Morris; five grandchildren, Kiah, Madison and Jason Jr. Gill and Virginia and Sarah Mast.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Thomas Boone; her parents, Robert Lee Morris and Mary Ruth Sipes Morris and a brother, Eli Morris.
Â Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, (today) at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will be in Troy City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
