HIDDEN VALLEY - Jason J. Meunier, 40 of Hidden Valley died suddenly Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013.

Jason was born June 2, 1973, in Tell City to James A. and Mary (Busam) Meunier.
Jason grew up in Spencer County, where he loved returning to spend time with his family and friends. He was a 1991 graduate of Heritage Hills High School in Lincoln City. Jason earned his bachelors-of-science degree from Indiana State University. Jason was a senior Engineer for Servoy USA Software Co.
Jason and his family moved to Dearborn County in 2001. Upon his arrival, he became an active member of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Catholic Church in Bright. He served previously as a member of the parish council and was a religious education teacher.Â In the past five years, Jason was very involved in the East Central Band Boosters, where he served as president. He loved spending his time supporting the band, guard and percussion students. Jason was also a member of the Southeastern Indiana Community Band.
Jason is survived by his beloved wife, Eva (Zimmerman) Meunier; devoted children, Caroline Julia Meunier and Benjamin Jason Meunier; loving parents, James A. and Mary (Busam) Meunier; sisters Lisa (Eric) Day, Linnette (Darrell) Peter and Nicole (Anthony) Osborne; brother Jonathan (Nikki) Meunier; grandmother Edna Meunier and nieces and nephews.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert Meunier, Russell and Mary E. Busam and niece Allison Day.
A Mass of Christian burial was conducted Wednesday, Sept. 25, at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross in Bright.
Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., in Harrison, Ohio, was in charge of arrangements.
