Shirley Tutt(2013)

Shirley Ann Tutt passed away on February 18 in Petaluma, just short of her 81st birthday on March 5. She was born in San Francisco to John William Tutt and Bonnie Arabel (Cushman) Tutt. No public service is planned.
Shirley spent her childhood on the family ranch near Dixon, California where she was a member of the Rainbow Assembly. She was an accomplished accordion player. She attended San Jose State College and graduated from San Francisco State College. She worked in Sacramento for the State of California and later in San Francisco as an Analyst for the California Department of Industrial Relations. She lived in Petaluma for over 30 years. Her main gardening interest was growing orchids. She enjoyed reading and she loved cats. She was an active volunteer for Christmas Cheer, an organization that has been donating new toys and food boxes to needy Petaluma families for many years.
Memorial gifts can be sent to Christmas Cheer. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother John Samuel (Jack) Tutt and nephew John Carl Tutt. Shirley is survived by her nieces: Elizabeth Ann Spencer and Cindy Louise Hart both of Fallon, Nevada and Linda Sue Ritter of Arnaudville, Louisiana. Also, by cousins: Barbara Brustrom, Richard Cushman, Bruce Wallace, Glenn Wallace, David Wallace, Bonnie Hubbard, Louise Kay Bloom and Glenn Cushman.
