Lila Lee De Clue Moore, on Mothers Day, 5-11-2014, was called home by her Lord and Savior with her family by her side.
The Guest Book is expired.
She married Chuck in 1955 and was his wife and best friend for 59 years. They had two children, a daughter Denise and Rick Bartlow from Walla Walla, Wa. and Steve and Liz Moore from Arlington Wa. Also they had four grandchildren and one great grandson.
Prior to moving to Brookings-Harbor she and Chuck owned and operated a "Swensen's Ice Cream Parlor" in Petaluma, Ca from 1972 to 1976. She and the students, she called lovingly Jerks, made the store "The Darling of The Franchise" with its cable car decor.
In 1983 they moved to Brookings-Harbor and purchased Harbor Hills Mobile Home Park which they owned and operated for twenty three years.
Lila was active in several organizations in Brookings-Harbor: The Elks Emblem Club, Azalea Court, Soroptimist, Presbyterian Church Choir and her true love was the Checto Pelican Players which she helped to get started.
In 2003 they sold the park and began a life of full time RV-ing. After nine years and visiting every state, settled in Soap Lake, Wa to be closer to their children.
She is survived by her husband Chuck, daughter Denise Bartlow, son Steve Moore and all the grandchildren.
A memorial was held on Saturday 5-24-2014 at the Ephrata Presbyterian Church in Ephrata, Wa.
