Joseph "Beppi" Narduzzi (1920 - 2012)

9-1-1920 to 8-27-2012
Passed away peacefully in his sleep a few days short of his 92nd birthday. Born in San Daniele del Friuli, Italy, he came to Santa Rosa as a 2-year-old. He graduated from Santa Rosa High School class of 1939 and grew up in the "little Italy" neighborhood; who now call themselves "the Westside gang". He served in the US Army during World War II. As part of the 88th Infantry Blue Devils, he toured in Italy where he met his wife Elsa who he was married to for 59 yrs. He called himself a "shoemaker" by trade and spent free time as an amateur photographer and accordion player. He belonged to numerous "clubs" that celebrated his Italian heritage and also the VFW and Accordion club. He is survived by his two daughters Mary Gosiak (George) and Anna Arntz (Paul). He was Nono to seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Funeral Liturgy on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. inside Madelyne's Chapel at Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2930 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95404) Private Entombment. As an expression of sympathy, a memorial contribution in Beppi's memory can be mailed to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran Street, Petaluma, CA
