"Judy" to those who knew her, passed away on October 11, 2012, after a long illness. Judy lived her entire life in Petaluma. She made her living working for locally owned businesses, and was a fixture at Moreda's for over 20 years. Her twin passions were her art and her horses. She volunteered for 4H, and most recently at the Petaluma Art Center.
Judy will be remembered as a brilliant artist, an accomplished equestrian, a trusted volunteer, and a warm, considerate and thoughtful woman who leaves behind a legacy of artwork which will always remind us of her, and what she held so precious in her heart.
Judy is survived by her brother Jeff Oster (Sherri), nephew Walter Oster (Julianne), and grand-nephews Benjamin and Noah.
The family invites friends to join them in celebrating Judy's birthday at the Petaluma Art Center, Sunday, November 4, 2 – 4:00 p.m. 230 Lakeville Street, Petaluma.
Donations to the Judy Oster Scholarship at the Petaluma Art Center is requested in lieu of flowers.
