BOWERS
THOMAS WESLEY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2013. He was 76.
Lifelong resident of Philadel-phia and son of the late Thomas and Amanda (Rivers) Bowers beloved husband of the late Joan C. (Flail) Bowers; father of Thomas F. Bowers (Meg) and Christine R. Stotesbury (James) and endearing grandfather to Joseph J. Pelensky and Brandon T. Bowers.
Thomas served in the U.S. Army was an avid fisherman, crabber and hunter who loved being in the outdoors. He is one of the founding members of Okome Bow Hunters Club and especial-ly enjoyed spending time away with his family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at St. David's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9169 Academy Rd., Phila. PA 19114, Thursday. January 31, 2013, at 6 P.M. Interment will be on Friday, February 1, 2013, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Military Honors precisely at 9:30 A.M.

I am so sorry for your loss. More so as a friend I am so so sorry that I was not there. My heart aches for you and your family. Pop will be so missed. Heaven is such a better place with him and memom and as they are together yet once again. My love and prayers go out to you.
