THOMAS CONVEY Obituary
THOMAS R., of Mayfair, on Oct. 5, 2009. Beloved husband of the late H. June Convey (nee Kent), devoted father of Thomas J. (Ann), David W. (Michelle), Kevin M. and Michael P. (Bea) Convey, Marianne P. (Eugene) Thornton and the late Sean Convey. Brother of Bernadette Holston and Joseph Convey; also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Relatives, friends and Members of The Men of St. Matthew are invited to attend his Funeral Saturday 8:15 to 9:15 A.M. at JOHN F. FLUEHR AND SONS INC., 3301-15 Cottman Ave. Funeral Mass St. Matthew Church 10 A.M. Rite of Committal Resurrection Cem. Friends may call Friday evening 7 to 9 P.M. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 12265 Townsend Rd., Phila. PA 19154.

To the Family of Tom and June Convey, Gina and I have had the pleasure of knowing them both since we moved onto Teesdale Street. Your mom always enjoyed looking across at the flowers Gina planted out front. The tremendous family support you demonstrated at her passing was a true inspiration. Your continued support for you father since has also been very visible.
I will miss the occasions that I had to just sit with your dad and talk about sports, politics and the latest books he and I were reading. Your dad was a real "Gentleman of Gentlemen". He will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
