ATTILIO "TONY REESE", on January 25, 2013 passed away peacefully at his home in Cherry Hill. Beloved husband of 30 years to Francine Resci "Fran Reese" (nee Cirincione). Loving uncle of Conrad Martina (Lucille), Sal Catania, Rosaria DiSpaldo (Domenic), Arlene Pulcinella, Vivian Roberts (Richard), Jeanne Memoli (Michael), Deanna Graci Cirincione, Emily Graci Cirincione and Robert Cirincione (Tanya). Dear great uncle of Michael Martina, Diane Raciti (Sam) and Suzanne Martina. Caring brother-in-law of Dominick Cirincione, Frank Cirincione (Judy) and Jack Cirincione (Pietrina). Dear friend of Frank Anastasio. Tony is predeceased by his loving parents Guisseppe and Vincenza Resci, brothers Carmen Resci and OFMCAP Corrandino Resci and sisters Edith Catania and Rose Resci.
Born in Foggia, Italy, and raised in South Philadelphia, attended Southern High School. Served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army
in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign earning a Bronze Star
WWII Victory Medal in the Medical Corp stationed in New Guinea. Enjoyed a career as part of the comedy team of Pepper Davis and Tony Reese. Having performed many times on the Ed Sullivan Show, The Tonight Show and the Dean Martin Show among many others. Also appeared in the George Raft Story and spent a year performing in London at the Paladium. A highlight for Tony was a Command Performance for Princess Grace and Prince Rainier in Monaco with Winston Churchill in the audience. Their career continued in Las Vegas performing at the Thunderbird, Sands and Desert Inn as headliners in the "Hello America" production. He later joined Pasqual DiIorio as a musical duo for the past 20 years performing at LaCollina and many other venues.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday January 30th from 6 - 8 P.M. and Thursday January 31st from 9 - 10 A.M. at THE BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Route 73 and Evesham Road, Marlton N.J., 856-983-1005.
