ELIZABETH "BETSY", of Marlton, age 81, passed away at home on October 11, 2012. Born and raised just outside of Pitts-burgh, she was a graduate of Duquesne University. As an Air Force spouse she moved regularly until settling in Willingboro in 1969. In 1982 she moved to Marlton. She was a elementary school teacher at Corpus Christi, Willingboro, and St. Mary of the Lakes, Medford, impacting the lives of hundreds of students. She was an avid painter, and a lover of the arts. Her greatest joy was time spent with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her son, Peter Hermesmann. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William Hermesmann, daughter Lisa Corbett (Michael) of South Harrison, New Jersey, and son Colonel Patrick Hermesmann, U.S.M.C. (Carol) of Columbus, New Jersey. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, five sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
