HENRY JOHN, age 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wed., May 14, 2014 in Burlington, NC. Beloved husband of the late Helen D. Wodyka. Devoted father of Richard Wodyka (Sharon), Marsha Jamieson, Mark Wodyka (Sylvia) and Cynthia Griffeth (David). Loving grandfather to Kate Wodyka-Koch, Emily Wodyka-Musika, Jennifer Moore, Kimberly Guthrie, Gary Winkleman, Amanda and Alison Griffeth. Proud Pop-Pop to great-grandchildren including Taylor and Madison Moore, Stella Musika and Sophie Winkleman. Henry was a proud Navy Veteran who served in both World War II and the Korean War. He received numerous commendations for his meritorious military service. He was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed the activities of his family. Henry was active in the Levittown community as a volunteer fireman in Levittown Fire Co. #2, coached youth sports, and was an active member in the Bishop Egan Fathers Club. He remained available to both family and friends to assist in times of need. Born in Nanticoke, PA, Henry moved his family to Levittown in 1952 where he worked for U.S. Steel in Fairless Works Plant for over 42 years. A special thank you to the staff at the Hospice Care Center of Alamance in Burlington, NC for their thoughtful care and support. The Visitation for Henry will be held on Wed., May 21 from 9-10 A,M followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. at St. Michael the Archangel RC Church 66 Levittown Pkwy., Levittown, PA. Interment will follow immediately at the Washington Crossing National Cem. located in Newtown, PA. Memorial donations may be made in Henry's name to the Arthritis Fdn., P.O.
