RUTH C. (Coppersmith) ANDERSON

RUTH C. (nee Coppersmith), 71, passed away May 9, 2013. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late John B. Anderson. She was a 1959 graduate of Westmont Hilltop HS in Johnstown, Pa. Ruth was President of the Spanish Club, Co-Captain of the Flag Twirlers and a member of the Girls Athletic Association, Y-Teens and the Student Council. She was a graduate of PSU and the Keystone Business School. Ruth began her professional career working for American Securities Corporation in Philadelphia. Soon after, she was named Municipal Bond Officer of Fidelity Bank, Philadelphia; where she was a Trader in the Municipal Bond Division, and was a member of the Investment Women's Club of Philadelphia. She and her beloved husband "Andy" spent many vacations at Curtain Bluff, Antigua and their summers on Long Beach Island, NJ. More recently, Ruth was spending her winters in Key West, Florida. She was predeceased by her parents: Ruth (nee Lang) and John Coppersmith. Surviving are 2 stepchildren: John (Janet) Anderson, II and Kimberly (Bill) Curley; 4 grandchildren: William J. Curley, IV, Avery A. Curley, Curran A. Anderson and John Grayson Anderson. Also surviving is an Aunt: Bernice (Ray) Clites and an Uncle: Elmer Lang. In addition, Ruth leaves behind her cousins: Linda (Everett) Custer, Patricia (Guy) Krisay, Diane (Richard) Raab and David and Maryann Clites. Arrangements are with ALLEVA FUNERAL HOME, INC. Paoli, PA.
