WILLIAM S., 62, of Washington Twp., peacefully passed away on February 14, 2013.

Legacy

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Bill graduated from Bartram High School and then Penn State with a Bachelor's Degree in Earth and Space Science and Education and earned his Master's Degree in Education from Widener University. Bill dedicated his life to science education and taught for 35 years in the Philadelphia School District.
Away from his work, Bill enjoyed traveling and had the honor of visiting 49 of the 50 United States; only missing Alaska. He was a diehard Philadelphia sports fan; cheering on his beloved Phillies and Penn State Nittany Lions. Bill will be sadly missed by his family and friends who truly loved this special man.

Family

Bill is the beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Fleming); devoted father of Alexander Young; dear brother of John Young, Dorothy Marie Klein and the late Shirley Esposito.

Farewell Service

Funeral Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of Bill's family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be made to an Animal Welfare Organization.
