CECELIA "CEIL" CONLY

Of Hatboro PA, died on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Ceil was born in Hatboro on December 9, 1930 to James A. and Kathryn (Gilligan) McPeak. She was pre-deceased by her beloved older brother, James H. McPeak. She graduated from Hatboro High School in 1948.
On June 10, 1953, Ceil married L. Gilbert ("Gil") Conly and together they had five children. In 1963, they founded Yum Yum Donuts on York Road in Warminster. Over the years, the business grew and it is now known Yum Yum Bake Shops with locations in Warminster, Colmar and Quakertown. Yum Yum has stayed in the family and is now being run by second and third generation Conly's.
After Gil died in 1986, Ceil married Joseph A. Young in 1991 and enjoyed many happy years with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Ceil is survived by her children, Debra (Gary De Palo), Glenn, Bruce (Donna), David and Penny Ellison (John); 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Joseph C. (Pam) McPeak.
Relatives and friends may greet the family from 6 to 8 P.M., Thursday, at THE FUNERAL HOME OF LOUIS SWIFT PLUNKETT, 529 N. York Rd., Hatboro, PA. Memorial Mass will be 11 A.M., Friday, at St. Alphonsus Church, 33 Conwell Dr., Maple Glen. There will be no morning Viewing. Interment will be held privately.
