January 2017,
Today I just found out that Joe passed away in August of 2016. I am so sorrry to hear about this. My husband and I and Joe and Pat shared so many wonderful times together . We went to many parties and events together during the 60's and 70's and we laughed and danced and just had great times. I have so many happy memories from those days. My husband, Murph passed away 5 years ago and now Joe has joined him and Pat. .My condolences to JoJo and Michelle and their beautiful families and to both Joe and Pat's families. Love, Shirley

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. As a young kid, I remember Joe when he played for Holy Rosary as my Dad coached Immaculate Conception. Those games were so intense at Waterview Rec. Ctr. in Germantown. When I coached in the PCL, Joe and all of the coaches relied so much on Joe's expertise and reliability. He was simply the best at what he did. May He Rest in Peace.

More than a man with a camera.
Quick to laugh, quick to tell you what he thought. He could be gruff but he cared about the job and the people. His cigar smoke annoyed some but it kept the bugs away from the scorer's table.
I'm fortunate to have known him.

Joe was a great athlete, a superb teacher and coach to thousands of young men in the Catholic League. His cameras captured a half century of scholastic sports in the tri-state area. Beneath that gruff exterior beat a heart of gold. From one of his many cameramen through the years.

Michelle and Joe your dad was a huge part of my life ever since I was a little girl, I'm going to miss him and hearing Rob and him debate over the Phillies and Eagles at Christmas dinner. He was a generous, loving man and I take comfort knowing that he is now reunited with your mom, his one true love.
Love to you all

Remember Mr Malizia from North, good teacher and a good coach. Know a lot of guys who played for him, he was respected and admired. Thanks for helping make a lot of neighborhood kids better athletes and more importantly better men.

Michelle & Joe & Families:
Sincere condolence for the passing of your Pop! We loved Joe & Pat. She was the greatest, and he worshipped her....in his own way.
He had a big heart, and he made me laugh a lot, when he wasn't even trying. I will miss him like I miss my brother.
Love you, Larry & Kathy Conti
