Having met Mr Simonson at a family Christmas gathering in 2009, I
was saddened to hear of his passing, and remember him as gracious and very amiable.

Gene was a mentor to me at SPS Technologies and attended my wedding. I first met Gene in 1978 and worked side by side with him through 1991. I'm saddened to hear this news and my sincere condolances to his family...Rick Sandy
