ELIAS
Of Bryn Mawr, PA, on June 17, age 99. Survived by wife Rena, daughters Joanna Mitro (Gary),
Sara Donna, and Mimi Burstein (Glenn Frantz), and grand-children Graham and Susanna Mitro. He was professor of physics at the University of Pennsylvania for over 59 years. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Tuesday, 10 A.M. Main Line Reform Temple, 410 Montgomery Avenue, Wynnewood. Interment will be private. Goldsteins' Funeral Home serving the family.

Dr. Burstein was a fine human being who always took the time to stop and say hello. I always enjoyed speaking with him and admired his outlook on life and his passion for science.

Dear Rena and family, I was so very sorry to receive news today of Eli's passing. He was truly one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will truly miss my wonderful friend who taught me more about physics and courage than I was ever able to give back to him, except maybe for one book about Time that he really enjoyed. I think he could have written it! DHenry
