Dr. Burstein was a fine human being who always took the time to stop and say hello. I always enjoyed speaking with him and admired his outlook on life and his passion for science.

Dear Rena and family, I was so very sorry to receive news today of Eli's passing. He was truly one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I haven't seen him in recent years but I have thought of him many, many times and always with love. I know he is at peace. I will miss him. ...Audrey Caputa

I will truly miss my wonderful friend who taught me more about physics and courage than I was ever able to give back to him, except maybe for one book about Time that he really enjoyed. I think he could have written it! DHenry
