REGINA SCHICKLING Obituary
REGINA M. "GINA", age 22, Suddenly July 1, 2010 Beloved daughter of Therese Curran (John) and Tom Schickling (Donna); sister of Pat, Mike, and Matt; granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Sunday evening 6-9 P.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (S. of Grant Ave.). A second visitation will occur Monday morning, 9-10:30 A.M. at St. Matthew Church, 3000 Cottman Ave. Phila., PA 19149. Funeral Mass 11 A.M. Interment Resurrection Cem. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to: Gina Schickling Scholarship Fund, c/o P.F.F.C.U., 901 Arch St., Phila., PA 19107, or P.S.P.C.A., 350 E. Erie Ave., Phila., PA 19134, or Citizens Crime Commission, 1518 Walnut St., Suite 901, Phila., PA 19108 would be appreciated.

Dear Tom and family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I was unsettled when Denise told me about Gina. When I heard the news thoughts of she and Denise playing basketball came rushing back to me. Although I never met her, I am deeply sorry for the loss of your precious daughter. Gina was friends with my son, Justin. He speaks of her highly and says she was an incredible person with a great spirit.
I hope in the years ahead your pain eases and you are able to honor her memory with smiles instead of heartache.
