A. FRANCIS Obituary
A. WARD FRANCIS, SR., of Wayne, PA and Nantucket died unexpectedly on Sat. March 2nd, 2013 at age 67. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Wixted Francis and devoted father of Austin Ward Francis Jr., Ph.D. and Adam Christopher Francis. He is also survived by his grandson, Akira Connor Francis. His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 8th, 2 PM in Church of the Redeemer, corner of Pennswood and New Gulph Rds., Bryn Mawr, PA. Burial will be private in the Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to either the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033 or The Bryn Mawr Hospital, 130 S. Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA. 19010.

Dear Kathy and Boys,
I was sad when I got word up here in Rhode Island that Ward, had passed but it also immediately brought me back to my childhood. So many memories shared with you. Nantucket, Florida, playing in the Star Wars playroom, trains on the third floor, decorating Christmas cookies. I may not have seen you in years but thank you for those fond memories. Take care!
