Agnes taught my son when he was in preschool at Temple Beth Hillel. She had such a passion for her job. She was always smiling and truly made a difference to anyway who was fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

It was such a comfort to me to meet Agnes' family today. All the more because I saw the likeness of her in their faces - it felt like I could still give her the usual hug through them, thanks for letting me do that. Agnes: I hope you watched us all today and that you felt the love that expressed! You deserve that!

I would just like to say what a wonderful family Agnes has. Just got back from the church and it was filled with people who loved and adored Agnes. Agnes was very lucky to have such a wonderful support system and such a great family. We were all blessed to have known her and have her in our lives. Today was a lovely tribute to Agnes.

To Rick and sons and family, we give our deepest sympathies and thoughts. We met Agnes from Dr. Katzen's office and found out she lived in Belmont Hills too, so we all quickly connected. We saw her once or twice a week for the last few years and she would always welcome us with a warm smile and gave good advice to our kids. She will be dearly missed.

From the first call I made to Dr. Katzen's office, I was comfortable because of Agnes's welcoming and generous spirit. I thought, "what a perfect person for a doctor's office."
Each time I was there, she was just as kind...never too busy to make one feel at ease. I trust she is experiencing the same Caring Light she shone on others. Rest in Peace, dear lady, it was a blessing to meet you.

To the Dixon Family,
I had the privilege to work with Agnes over the last year. My heart is broken to hear of her passing. I keep reaching for the phone to call her and see how things are going. I'm going to miss her deeply. She truly adored her family and in the short time I knew her, I could tell she enjoyed being their mother. Please accept my deepest sympathy and I hope the memory of her love gives you peace.

I am still both shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Agnes. She was one of the most outgoing and generous women I have known. Agnes and I volunteered together at Penn Valley school before the Belmont Hills redistricting. The Dixon boys were in Boy Scouts with my sons and Agnes was always a fixture there as well. All three of her sons have earned the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout. Agnes (along with Rich) worked tirelessly for the Scouts and our community for years. The loss of this phenomeal woman will be felt by so many. May God Bless and comfort her family and friends as they face the future without her guiding light. . .

Agnes was a person who believed in giving all you can back to your community. She did enough volunteering for all of us combined. She was a kind hearted person who always had time to listen to a friend in need. I will miss her terribly. Whenever she came in the library she would give me a big hug. I will miss those hugs. I was so blessed to have known her. My prayers go out to her family, friends and neighbors. She will never be forgotten.
